Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team, leading the development of a multi million, multi storey mixed-use residential building with retail and office space at ground level. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to manage the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through to successful delivery, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the project, including planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Oversee the development of a 6-storey residential block, including the integration of retail and office spaces at the ground level.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality control, and building codes throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and delays.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that the project stays within financial parameters.
  • Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and materials to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across all departments.
  • Deliver regular project updates to senior management and clients.
  • Maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering future opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of managing similar-sized residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with managing multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

  • Experience working on residential and commercial developments in the South Wales region.
