What you'll be doing as a Shift Manager

Day-to-day, you'll coordinate and guide a team of production operatives, ensuring all manufacturing activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with established schedules, specifications, and quality standards - while keeping waste and cost to a minimum.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all shift operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance across production, engineering, and quality functions.
  • Monitoring and adjusting workflow, equipment, and resource allocation to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintaining clear communication with other shift leaders to ensure continuity and effective handovers.
  • Preparing and presenting shift reports to senior management, contributing to wider operational planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Promoting a proactive culture around health & safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

What you'll need to apply for the Shift Manager position
