We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our client, providing essential support in residential settings across Swansea. The role will involve a combination of day shifts, waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily activities in the home and support them in the community.
  • Provide care to individuals with a variety of needs including learning disabilities (L/D), autism, epilepsy, sensory impairment, and non-verbal communication.
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Carry out duties with a focus on promoting independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Must be a driver (essential).
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours is essential. Experience with restraint/de-escalation techniques is not required but beneficial.
  • Must have experience working with adults with additional needs, including learning disabilities and autism.
  • Flexibility to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
