Robert Half are recrutiing for a Swindon based business to cover work on a 6 month project.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Card Reconciliation Specialist with a strong background in retail and experience in complex reconciliation processes.

This role involves managing consumer to business payments, manipulating large datasets, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities: Perform complex credit card reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.

Analyse consumer and business payment transactions to ensure accurate financial records.

Utilise Excel to manipulate and analyse large datasets, producing meaningful insights for decision-making.

Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Develop and maintain reconciliation processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare and present regular reports on reconciliation status and findings to management.

Assist in identifying trends and areas for process improvement within credit card processing and reconciliation.

Qualifications: Proven experience in credit card reconciliation, preferably within a retail environment.

Strong understanding of consumer to business payment processes.

Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills in data manipulation, pivot tables, and formulas.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
