Tax Senior

Overview:

Our client are recruiting for a Tax Senior to assist the Partners in delivering corporate, personal tax, and payroll services. The role involves oversight of tax compliance functions, reviewing team work, and some processing tasks. This role offers strong prospects for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all tax compliance work for the Practice including corporation tax, personal, trust, partnership tax, and payroll
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, business tax computations, and payroll calculations
  • Leading and assisting on tax assignments
  • Supervising, delegating, and reviewing junior staff's work
  • Communicating with clients effectively and assisting on ad-hoc project work

Qualifications:

  • CTA qualified/part-qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience at a senior level

Day-to-day:

  • Multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Leading on tax compliance and demonstrating strong technical knowledge
  • Utilizing bookkeeping software and cloud-based platforms
  • Communicating effectively with clients and team members
