Accounts Assistant / Legal Cashier

My client, a highly regarded law firm, is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Legal Cashier to join their cashiering team in the finance department on a full-time basis, hybrid working is available with 3-4 days from the office. Part of the larger Finance function, you will be supporting and managing client accounts, making sure the company remain compliant, alongside a number of other tasks and responsibilities. To excel in this role, you will need to be organised, methodical, and able to juggle multiple tasks. My client is keen to have someone who can think of the bigger picture to make sure they meet the needs of the business now and in the future. You will be involved in a variety of tasks which support the Finance team and the wider business so if you’re a team player you will fit in well. The types of things you will be involved in include:

  • Preparing, processing and recording receipts and payments
  • Assisting with email and telephone enquiries
  • Working closely with other team members, Fee Earners and support staff
  • Processing various requests received from Fee Earners in a timely manner and in accordance with company guidelines

The team are busy making sure that everything runs smoothly for the effective servicing of their Clients and Fee Earners, so someone who can demonstrate that they are good with numbers, can quickly build relationships, is a clear communicator and is happy to speak to stakeholders both on the phone or via email are all essential skills for our next team member. Ideally you will come from a Law Firm, or a Professional Services background however we recognise that there are lots of transferrable skills to do well in this role; and if you’re keen to learn, develop and can demonstrate that you could do this role then we would be keen to hear from you.
