The RoleOur client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Paraplanner to join their expanding team, where you will be at the heart of supporting a team of high-performing Advisers. This critical role involves undertaking essential paraplanner duties while working alongside an experienced and dynamic team. You will play an integral part in helping deliver tailored financial solutions and exceptional service to clients.The BusinessOur client is a well-respected Financial Planning firm with a strong reputation in the industry. The team fosters long-standing relationships with clients, resulting in an outstanding client-retention rate and a collaborative and supportive working environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed investment portfolio analysis, ensuring the appropriate asset allocation in line with the client’s risk profile.
  • Prepare a range of documents including investment, pension, and protection illustrations, projections, and associated documentation, with a particular focus on pension replacement and decumulation.
  • Draft and present suitability reports, client service agreement letters, and assist with checking valuations.
  • Maintain client files in compliance with both FCA regulations and internal policies and procedures, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Work closely with Advisers to ensure all client queries are addressed effectively, supporting both new and existing clients with relevant advice.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that all work adheres to best practice in an IFA environment.
Requirements
  • Hold or be working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, with the aim of achieving Chartered status.
  • Proven experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Services Firm, with a strong understanding of financial products and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with advisers and clients.
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
