CLASS 1 DRIVER

WORKING FRIDAY TO MONDAY (ALL 4 DAYS OR ADHOC DAYS)

EARLY & LATE SHIFTS AVAILABLE

£19.23 - £28.85 PER HOUR

People Solutions are pleased to be working with a well-known distribution company to support their delivery network across the UK.

With flexible days of working across Friday to Monday (various shifts available), along with being able to advise a start time window (early and late start times available).

You will be earning from £19.23 to £28.85 per hour and a key part of the team.

Day to Day Duties

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Ensuring the safe transportation of the load from Swindon to other depots or stores within the area
• Liaising with the transport team to ensure timely delivery
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults to management
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed
• Caged goods, temperature controlled deliveries.

Essential Skills

• Full UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Valid CPC & DIGI card
• At least two years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Good time keeping
• A professional appearance and attitude
• Confident when dealing with people
• The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative

Desirable Experience

Previous depot and store delivery experience would be an advantage.

Training

Driving assessment must be undertaken prior to 3 days of training taking place (must be available for mid-week training days).
