Day to Day Duties

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Trunking
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Ensuring the safe transportation of the load from Swindon to other depots or stores within the area
• Liaising with the transport team to ensure timely delivery
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults to management
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed
• Caged goods, temperature-controlled deliveries

Essential Skills

• Full UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Valid CPC & DIGI card
• At least two years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Good time keeping
• A professional appearance and attitude
• Confident when dealing with people
• The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative

Desirable Experience

• Previous depot and store delivery experience would be an advantage

Training

• Driving assessment must be undertaken prior to three days of training taking place
• You must be available for mid-week training days
