Rapier Employment is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 drivers for a well-known client in Swindon on an ongoing basis.
Candidates must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience and no more than 9 points on their license.
The position offers a basic hourly rate of £18.88, with higher rates for night and weekend shifts.
Ideal shift patterns include Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, with potential for weekend work only.
Responsibilities include transporting goods efficiently, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.

Rapier Employmentis looking for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client basedin Swindon on an ongoing basis.

Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, with no more than 9 points on your licence.

Position:Class 1 Driver
Hours: Start times will vary, potential for AM and PM starts.
Ideal shift patterns:

Thursday to Monday OR Friday to Tuesday.
If you are looking for weekend work only, they can potentially accommodate this.

Basic hourly rate:£18.88 per hour
Night premium (20:00-05:00):£19.91 per hour
Saturday:£24.90 per hour
Sunday:£27.31 per hour
Overtime:1.25x overtime rate after 42.5 weekly hours worked

Responsibilitiesinclude, but arenot limited to:

Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South coast of England up to the Midlands.
PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
Always provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
CPC Card
Digi Card
12 months of Class 1 experience
No more than 9 points on your licence
