Area Sales Manager - South West - Bristol - Exeter - £45,000

Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a well established yet rapidly expanding hand tool business. They are looking for an Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager to cover the South West region covering South Wales down to Cornwall (only occasional visits to Cornwall and the Channel Islands). The ideal candidate would be located around Bristol / Exeter but they are open to candidates anywhere in the South of Wales / South West.

This is an excellent role for someone looking to focus purely on Clients and selling as you will be backed up by an Internal Sales Manager to help you with all of your admin needs!

As Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager you will be:

  • Managing your sales area
  • Visiting existing clients as well as potential ones
  • Expanding on current ranges with existing clients
  • Introducing new products
  • Deciding where merchandisers could be utilised and branding promoted
  • Preparing sales forecasts
  • Ensuring all clients are called and visited regularly
  • Keeping the CRM up to date
  • Attending trade shows
  • Other duties as required

This role of Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager has an 80 / 20 split for existing clients / new business and the company promote heavily so new clients approach them directly! This is a great role for someone who loves to be out and about on the road and hates admin!
