We’re working with a global, award-winning cruise specialist who are looking for an experienced sales manager with a travel industry background to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, sales driven leader to manage a team of cruise specialists, motivating and inspiring them to deliver an exceptional level of customer service whilst meeting their sales targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong travel industry background with a proven track record of sales achievements. They’ll be monitoring performance, conducting 121’s and coaching to ensure the team is reaching targets and company KPI’s in compliance with company core values.

Based in Wiltshire, this is a full-time, office-based role which will suit those with a flexible approach to working hours covering evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Role of Travel Sales Manager:

  • To oversee, manage, lead and motivate the sales team ensuring daily performance targets are achieved
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Feedback to the Product department on calls received and obstacles which you have had to overcome
  • Reporting on staff attendance, absence and address any concerns as they arise

Skills required for the role:

  • Sales managerial experience gained within the travel sector - essential
  • Ability to compile and analyse sales figures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Proven track record in delivering results with the ability to deliver robust solutions
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and develop others, leading by example
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Financial understanding
  • Cruise knowledge advantageous
