Field Sales Representative - Residential (UK and Ireland)

Salary - £40,000 (OTE £58,000)

We are working with a leading technology distributor who are looking to expand their Sales team with two additional heads.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales and building strong customer relationships by going out into the field and meeting clients face-to-face and demonstrating our products. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing a sales territory, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to meet and exceed targets.
  • Generate new leads and build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with prospective and current clients.
  • Present, promote, and sell products or services to potential customers.
  • Perform product demonstrations and provide detailed information to clients.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer needs, and competitors to develop strategies to increase market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance feedback to management.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field sales an advantage.
  • Experience of the Commercial AV industry essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
