My client is seeking a caring and dedicated individual to take on a combined role as a SEND Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Assistant. This unique opportunity allows you to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey while contributing to a safe, happy, and healthy morning environment for all students. This role is available on a fixed-term contract with a working pattern across both roles of 7:15-11.

What You’ll Be Doing
SEND Support:
- Work one-on-one with a child with an EHCP to support their academic and personal development.
- Adapt materials and learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENDCO, parents, and external professionals like speech and language therapists.
- Provide care during play/lunchtimes and assist with intimate care when required.
Breakfast Club:
- Supervise and engage with children across the primary age range during breakfast time.
- Organize fun and structured activities to foster a positive start to the school day.
- Ensure a smooth transition from breakfast club to classroom activities.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Caring, patient, and empathetic, with an understanding of children’s individual learning needs.
- Skilled communicator who can build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Flexible and enthusiastic about working in a busy school environment.
- Understanding of autism and intensive interaction (desirable but not essential).
