Temporary People Services Coordinator
Location: Flexible across various school sites in SwindonDuration: Temporary, ongoing, Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (15:30 on Friday) with hybrid working options (3 days in, 2 days at home).

About Us:We are recruiting for a dedicated organisation committed to delivering exceptional support and development in the education sector. We are looking for a skilled Temporary People Services Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in enhancing People Services.
Key Responsibilities:As a Temporary People Services Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for Heads of Provision and will work flexibly across sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Central colleagues, provision-based employees, and school leaders on a wide range of employment and employee relations matters.
- Providing accurate and timely support and guidance to Heads of Provision and managers, fostering strong and trusting relationships.
- Keeping leaders informed of changes to legislation that may affect employees.
- Conducting regular meetings with Heads of Provision to review People KPIs, workforce planning, and employee relations cases.
- Sharing best practices with colleagues across the People Services Team.
Employee Relations Management:You will effectively manage an employee relations caseload to ensure positive outcomes, including:
- Offering advice, coaching, and support on disciplinary, capability, grievance, and absence management processes.
- Representing the organization in Allegations Management Meetings, liaising with external parties such as the LADO, social services, and the police.
- Supporting Heads of Provision in trade union meetings to foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts.
- Working in partnership with trade unions on various employee relations issues and change management programs.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of probationary reviews.
Who We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with at least CIPD Level 3. Education experience is preferred but not essential. You should be proactive, innovative, and passionate about enhancing the employee experience. Additionally, you should have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships.
- A sound understanding of employment legislation and best practices.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license and access to your own transport for travel between Central and school sites.
