We are seeking a dedicated Global Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for building strong relationships with clients and ensuring operational excellence across all engagements. The ideal candidate will embody our company values in all business interactions and strive to achieve set margin percentages for each event.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage multiple client enquiries from initial contact through to the completion of bookings.
  • Handle rooming lists, catering requirements, and client requests up to the day of the booking.
  • Ensure that all deadlines and client SLAs are met consistently.
  • Negotiate the best rates on behalf of clients to ensure maximum satisfaction and profitability.
  • Prioritise workloads and support the team to fulfil client needs effectively.
  • Proactively learn and follow specific client and internal processes.
  • Conduct contract checks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Utilise The Gratis booking tool efficiently to manage bookings and client interactions.
  • Follow up after every booking with a courtesy call to understand future requirements and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for collecting the final invoice post-booking, ensuring commission levels are correctly set in Gratis and reconciling to match the final invoice.
  • Support the Commercial area by negotiating enhanced commissions, requesting credit facilities, and staying informed of current deals.
  • Maximise product knowledge by hosting suppliers, accompanying clients on-site inspections, attending external product knowledge days, and participating in trade shows.
  • Build and develop strong supplier relationships and maintain awareness of all joint venture partners and their offerings.
  • Participate in at least two Client Kit Days and two key stakeholder client events annually.
