We are working with a Swindon Borough Council who are looking for an Audit and Review Officer to join their team.
Location: Swindon Borough Council
Set-up: Remote
Rate: £45.51/hour via umbrella, inside IR35
Duration: Initial 3-month contract, potential extension
Hours: Full-time position
Responsibilities include:
- Establish where we are with EHC needs assessments, quality of EHC Plans and annual reviews within the first month
- Identify gaps in practice for individual child/young person and make recommendations for improvement
- To report to the SEND Improvement lead weekly
- Be prepared to present to panels as required (e.g. High Cost Panel or Preparing for Adulthood Panel)
- Able to take on complex casework if required to resolve child/young person’s plan for going forward
- Experience using the Synergy system and if not experienced in this be trained in Swindon to use this
Requirements:
- Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client’s discretion
