My client is a software house and you will be the main point of contact for their customers’ IT support needs. This is a wide-ranging, all-encompassing support role so you may have to deal with password resets and printer issues ("have you tried turning it off and on again?") but also more complex and challenging issues - server and network configuration for example.

I would expect you to be familiar with the following:

  • Windows 10/11
  • Office 365
  • Hardware diagnostics
  • Servers and network configuration - domain controller, group policy, Ubuntu Servers, VMWare
  • Routers/Firewalls

I have anticipated some of your questions:

  • The role is full time office based - no remote working.
  • The role is located about 20 minutes’ drive from the centre of Swindon.
  • The role is permanent.
