About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Support Engineer to join our team, providing critical support and maintenance for enterprise platform infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of key business systems, including Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Unified Access Devices (UADs). As a key member of the support team, you will monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor platform infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise systems such as Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, and VDI environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist in patch management, system updates, and compliance security measures.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, including troubleshooting guides and FAQs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support endpoint management and virtualized environments.
  • Utilize automation scripts and infrastructure monitoring tools to enhance system efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend improvements.
  • Support capacity planning and performance optimization by analyzing system trends.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to handle after-hours incidents and minimize downtime.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure support.
  • Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, and VDI environments.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls) and storage systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V).
  • Experience with IT monitoring tools and incident management processes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (MCSE, ITIL, etc.) are highly desirable.
