Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for KS2 teachers to join us in making a positive difference to the lives of Swindon pupils. Whether you're a recent ETC or experienced teacher, you will play a key role in delivering lessons to KS2 pupils.

As one of our valued KS2 Teachers, you will play a key role in supporting Key Stage 2 pupils as they develop and grow as individuals. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, whilst having the autonomy to bring in your own unique experiences. You'll have the opportunity for both flexible and long-term work, as well as a fantastic day rate and support network.

Experience of outdoor learning advantageous. Working in an ofsted 'good' rated school

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Swindon

Position: KS2 Primary Teacher

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils

Start Date: Feb 2025

Rate of pay : 130 - 170 p/d

Hours: 08:15 - 16:15

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

*Qualified Teacher Status

Desirable:

*Experience of working in Primary School

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*An understanding of the transition process from KS1 to KS2.

*Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

*Hold right to work in the UK

*Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

*Provide two professional child related references
