With the aim of 'Deliver Once' and also elevating our white glove delivery service even further, we are looking for a dynamic and positive Logistics Team Leader who will support our delivery and distribution team in the delivery of exemplary customer service. You'll be accountable for the performance of the team, ensuring regulations are followed while having a clear focus on efficiencies; providing direction, support and feedback to the team and the rest of the business.

In this busy and pivotal role to Neptune, day to day you will:

  • Ensure a safe environment for all teams through implementing best practice, scheduled Health & Safety training, reporting all defects, accidents and injuries.
  • Be accountable for the performance of the delivery team, delivering the highest Neptune standards by carrying out regular team reviews, record keeping and enforcing business policies.
  • Collaborating with the operations trainer to deliver training programs which will deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction through our delivery service
  • Ensuring there are clear and transparent communication channels in place with all stakeholders to reduce errors and increase performance.
  • Continuously monitor and report on driving hours to ensure we follow the drivers hours regulations at all times


We are looking for someone special; to not only be an ambassador of our brand but to also lead on setting high standards, so you'll have a natural desire to achieve and support others to deliver to these too. You'll be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and a collaborative and influential team player with the ability to engage at any level.

You will also be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads to meet changing requirements and deadlines. You'll also bring demonstrable experience within performance management, leadership principles, practices and techniques and a thorough understanding of WTD/drivers hours regulations within a busy distribution environment.
