Robert Half are working exclusively with a forward thinking business in Swindon to recruit a Finance Assistant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a great entry level role that will work closely with the Finance Manager and support with bank reconciliations, payment processing and the overall sales ledger process. This Finance Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is studying towards their AAT or a recent university graduate that is looking their first step into finance and accounting world, and be a part of a company renowned for offering career development. The salary is between £22,000 - £25,000 plus study support, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Finance Assistant role will consist of:
- Daily banking operations; managing accounts and reconciling transactions.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Allocating payments.
- Reconciling receipts.
- Petty cash reconciliations.
- Dealing with queries.
- Maintaining accounts and financial records.
Requirements
To be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
- Experience within a similar role would advantageous.
- AAT studier or a recent university graduate.
- Good communication skills.
- Keen to learn.
- Strong team player.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Salary & Benefits
