We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at a respected secondary school in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with a variety of learning needs, helping them stay engaged, motivated, and focused during lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs
- Help students stay focused, engaged, and motivated during lessons
- Work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Encourage students to achieve academically and thrive emotionally
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining positive behaviour
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Passion for working with young people and supporting their academic growth
- Experience in education or working with children is a plus, but not essential
