Full Time - Swindon - April 2025

A fantastic school in Swindon, are excited to welcome a committed, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to their staff this April. The school cater to students aged 3 months to 5 years old and want a confident individual to further support the children's learning. Working as a Learning Support Assistant will include guiding students throughout the school day and encouraging them with their learning material and developing independence.

The responsibilities of the successful Learning Support Assistant will include:

  • 1-1 based support throughout the school day
  • Participating in interventions and concentrated support
  • Adjusting learning material and classwork for students
  • Being a role model for the students
  • Providing a safe space for students to express themselves

The school have a collaborative approach to educating their students, communicating with parents, educational professionals and experts on site. The role of a Learning Support Assistant includes participating in team meetings with teachers, therapists and educational psychologists to tailor education plans to individual needs of the students.
