Role and responsibilities:

We are currently collaborating with a forward-thinking Secondary School provision dedicated to serving children with complex and additional needs. This presents a unique chance to gain insight into the future of Specialist provisions and their operational frameworks.

Comprising three distinct areas, this provision has developed bespoke curriculums and environments tailored to facilitate the best access to education for each child. Predominantly catering to students with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) & Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), the provision boasts small class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio. This ensures that the team can provide individualised support and fosters a collaborative atmosphere among colleagues. Some students can display challenging behaviour, therefore the ideal candidate will be resilient and calm in high pressure situations.

There is a permanent contract on offer for this role, with the school looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding and hands-on experience in supporting students with additional needs. Success in this role hinges on possessing empathy and a genuine passion for working with children. If you're eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these students, you are encouraged to apply!
