Violence and Aggression Prevention Advisor

A position has arisen for a temporary Violence and Aggression Prevention Advisor who specialises in violence and aggression placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Wiltshire. This role takes responsibility for providing subject leadership and advice/guidance for the Violence and Aggression reduction agenda.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing relevant Health and Safety Policies E.G. Restraint and Restrictive Practices
  • Identifying/establishing the provision of appropriate arrangements, processes, procedures, and training
  • Reporting of issues associated with the Prevention and Management of Violence & Aggression across the organisation and the drafting of reports for the Health & Safety and other corporate committees’ undertakings
  • Regularly reviewing detailed Violence Reduction Program, including the research, writing, and production of training materials
  • Reviewing and identifying RIDDOR reportable incidents and notify the Health & Safety Executive in line with legal requirements

The successful candidate should have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and be NEBOSH or IOSH Qualified 
  • Experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes
  • You must have previous experience dealing with violence and aggression initiatives
  • Please note a DBS will be required for this position
