HGV Parts Assistant/Driver needed
£26,000 - £28,500 per annum

Our client, a commercial automotive business specialising in vehicle sales, repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and trailers, is seeking for a HGV Parts Assistant/ Driver to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be a key member of our operation and will be involved in duties such as delivering exceptional customer service to our customer’s, establishing customer needs for required parts through conversation, diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate, locating and ordering parts, fully conversant with procedures within the parts department, delivering and collecting parts as required.
Role: HGV Parts Assistant/Driver
Salary: £26,000 - £28,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm or 8.00am to 6.00pm with ½ an hour unpaid lunchbreak. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon
Location: Swindon
Key Responsibilities:
- delivering exceptional customer service to our customer’s
- establishing customer needs for required parts through conversation
- diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate
- locating and ordering parts
- fully conversant with procedures within the parts department
- delivering and collecting parts as required
- receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers
- communicating relevant promotions and offers to workshop control and customers
- assist with parts stock checks
- report any stock damage or losses
- retuning of parts to suppliers
- Delivery of parts to customers
- All parts are controlled by our dealer management system DMS.
Requirements:
- be pro-active

- a willingness to learn and be engaged with training
- an interest in pursuing a career within our industry
- Experience in similar positions is advantage.
- Full training will be given on our systems and processes.
- Driving Licence essential.
