M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Dismantler to join one of our clients, a family run company near the centre of Swindon.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Testing parts from vehicles to ensure they are functional
- Removing of parts from vehicles to include exterior trims through to engine parts
- Fault diagnosing on vehicles
- Mark and gather removed parts ready for sorting and tagging
- Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as required
- Movement of stock around the yard
- Assisting with the sorting or scrap metals and waste
- Other ad hoc duties as required
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
- A valid driving licence
- 2 years of mechanical hands on experience - with both new and old cars
- Ability to dismantle vehicles in a timely manner
- Experience of dealing with diagnostics
