M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Dismantler to join one of our clients, a family run company near the centre of Swindon.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Testing parts from vehicles to ensure they are functional
  • Removing of parts from vehicles to include exterior trims through to engine parts
  • Fault diagnosing on vehicles
  • Mark and gather removed parts ready for sorting and tagging
  • Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as required
  • Movement of stock around the yard
  • Assisting with the sorting or scrap metals and waste
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

In order to be considered for the role, you must have:

  • A valid driving licence
  • 2 years of mechanical hands on experience - with both new and old cars
  • Ability to dismantle vehicles in a timely manner
  • Experience of dealing with diagnostics
