* Position: Welder Fabricator
* Salary: 18.00 - 19.00 ph
* Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
* Location: Swindon
Day-to-Day Duties:
* MIG / TIG welding and fabrication
* Sheet metal work
* Working with Saws, Guillotines, Folding machines and Pilar drills
* Welding on Mid steel, Stainless steel and aluminium
* Working from engineering drawings
* Working with sheet metal, Box section, Tube
* Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines
* Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
* Occasional overtime as required by customer demand
Experience and Skills Required:
* Minimum 5 years welding experience (with references)
* Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
* Experience with Saws, Guillotines, Folding machines and Pilar drills
* Experience welding and working with Mid steel, Stainless steel and aluminium
* Experience Working with sheet metal, Box section, Tube and Pipe
* Coded welder certification (desirable)
* Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
