Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Miller Setter Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with vertical milling machines and be willing to learn and develop their skills using HAAS controls.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating vertical milling machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working to precise engineering specifications and tolerances
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience setting and operating vertical milling machines
- Knowledge of 3 and 5 axis milling
- Familiarity with HAAS controls is beneficial, but training can be provided
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Day-to-day
The day-to-day activities will include setting up the machine for production runs, loading materials, entering program codes, monitoring the machine's operation, adjusting machine settings as needed, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
