Due to the continued need for their industry leading service, they are looking to add a competent Goods in and Purchasing Operative to their head count. Just like the company itself, this role is like no other; one minute you may be checking in goods, the next you may be negotiating the price of a stainless steel rod!While there will be opportunities for the Goods in and Purchasing Operative to support the overall business, the fundamentals will be:• Checking all goods in paperwork and loading onto their ERP system • Effectively manage sock and material via the company MRP system• Liaising with suppliers to ensure material and courier costs are competitive• Carefully packing multiple products for distributionWe would be interested in speaking with anyone from a buying or engineering back ground that is eager to take the next step in their career, who have:• Experience with MRP and ERP systems• A positive and motivated attitude • Knowledge of goods in/out and processing appropriate paper work • Strong attention to detailIn return for their loyalty the Goods in and Purchasing Operative will be offered:• 33k - 35k pa (depending on experience), • Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30• Overtime paid at time and a 3rd• 23 days holiday• An inclusive values based team How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this job please use the link, or give one of our friendly team a call on .If this is not the job for you, but you know someone who might be interested please get in touch and take advantage of our fantastic RECOMMEND A FRIEND' scheme.
