Description
- Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and manage reconciliations of key accounts.
- Support the internal and external audit processes by providing relevant financial data and reports.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Liaise with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.
Profile
- May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance role, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory position.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiency within the finance function.
Job Offer
