Description

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and manage reconciliations of key accounts.
  • Support the internal and external audit processes by providing relevant financial data and reports.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.

Profile

  • May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance role, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory position.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiency within the finance function.
