Reed Education are representing a beautiful independent day school set in extensive woodlands in Tadworth, Surrey. We are dedicated to educating children and young people with profound autism and associated challenging behaviours. We are seeking an enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to enhance our hardworking and committed team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach and support children and young people with profound autism and challenging behaviour.
- Manage a team of Special Needs Assistants to ensure effective learning and support.
- Collaborate with our excellent Therapy Team in a multi-disciplinary approach to enhance educational outcomes.
- Contribute to the overall development and continuous improvement of the school environment and educational practices.
- Experience working with children and young people with profound autism and challenging behaviour.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of Special Needs Assistants.
- Strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary approach in educational settings.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine interest in advancing in the field of autism education.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
