Our client are experts in passive fire protection and firestopping, successfully operating and sustainably growing for the past 34 years. Due to this continued growth they now need a Fire Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team in the Midlands. The successful Fire Contracts Manager will receive a very competitive basic salary, 33 days paid leave, a company vehicle, ongoing development options and work exclusively across the Midlands.Fire Contracts Manager key benefits:

Fire Contracts Manager main duties:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, and commercial/account managers
  • Planning projects and delivering a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver without delays
  • Build and maintain relationships with both the client and external customers
  • Chair and lead meetings with the customer and report on progress to date
  • Ordering materials and ensuring delivery doesn't impact project timescales
  • Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs, estimating budgets and timescales
  • Discuss, draft, review and negotiate the terms of business contracts
  • Ensure a commercial plan and end of life forecast is in place and monitored monthly
  • Ensure weekly review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out
  • Liaise with manufacturers to provide suitable details for all installations
  • Build a team capable to deliver all projects provided by the business
  • Ensure site team's compliance with all company policies and procedures, including H&S responsibilities
  • Implement the risk management process, review risk register and check risk controls
  • Ensure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
Fire Contracts Manager qualifications & experience:
  • Proven experience in managing fire door or passive fire projects
  • Strong capability of planning, prioritising and meeting deadlines, with a track record of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
  • Good working knowledge of contract conditions, regulations and risk management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm for and experience in cultivating lasting relationships as well as strong desire to support the team
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, particularly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal and ability to speak to people at all levels
  • Ability to resolve problems and queries efficiently
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Packages and willingness to learn multiple software systems
