SF Technology are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a popular organisation within the West Midlands and take on the challenge of centralising and consolidating data from multiple sources across various software systems and applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and international team, providing data-driven insights to support our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Centralise and consolidate data from various software systems and applications used across 19 locations in 8 countries.
  • Clean, enrich, and prepare data in a centralised database using Python and SQL.
  • Develop automated data pipelines and processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Analyse data to uncover insights and trends that inform business decisions.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to support company growth and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the data team in France and potentially other countries to align on data practises and leverage shared learnings.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Understanding of data engineering principles and experience with data modelling.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation best practises.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
