Are you detail-oriented and efficient in managing documentation? We areseeking a skilled Document Controller to join our client's dynamicProject team. This full-time position offers a challenging and fulfilling work environment where your contributions are vital to the success of the projects.

The Company:

Our client are a very successful Building Envelope Contractor, who have been trusted to deliverhigh-spec re-cladding projects in England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures usingInternal Document Control System
  • Keep accurate hard copy records for each building.
  • Address discrepancies in document titles and reference numbers.
  • Scan, upload, and manage document distribution and storage.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external clients to coordinate documentation.
  • Ensure the integrity of drawings and design documents (both electronic and hard copies).
  • Establish archiving procedures and manage online document portals.
  • Control the issue and review of design data, maintaining communication records.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maximize project effectiveness.
  • Prepare contract and technical documentation within set timelines.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a document control role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to work and problem-solving.

Additional Duties:

  • Engage in staff development and training as required.
  • Adhere to company policies, including Equality, Diversity, Health, and Safety.
