Day to Day Duties

Your day to day duties as a Workshop Operative would include:

  •  Adding fittings into vehicles such as draws and shutters
  •  Adding in electrical fittings and adding paintwork detail
  •  Use of hand and power tools to assemble and install fittings
  •  Use of machinery
  •  Working to 3D drawings

Essential Skills

Essential skills needed to be a Workshop Operative are:

  •  Previous use of hand and power tools
  •  Previous use of machinery
  •  Ability to read 3D drawings

Desirable Experience

  •  Previous experience working in a factory / manufacturing environment.

What training is provided?

  •  Training is given on site and support given throughout.
