You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, sole traders, and partnerships, providing expert advice and overseeing compliance and advisory services.

Job Purpose
  • Provide tailored tax advice to a varied client portfolio, including HNWIs and sole traders
  • Manage the commercial aspects of a personal tax portfolio, ensuring excellent client service
  • Collaborate with Partners to deliver innovative tax strategies and solutions
  • Prepare and review personal tax compliance and advisory reports
  • Lead on advisory work, including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Trusts tax, and SAS
  • Liaise with HMRC, resolving queries and ensuring compliance
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing training
  • Identify opportunities for clients and contribute to the firm’s strategic growth initiatives

Job Requirements

We’re seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification with substantial experience in personal tax
  • Expertise in managing client portfolios and delivering bespoke tax solutions
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and supervising junior staff
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused approach
