Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Personal Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Tax Partner and senior leadership team to oversee tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance and providing expert tax advice
  • Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of complex personal tax returns
  • Advising clients on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax planning strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing coaching, training, and support
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation changes and ensuring both clients and team members are informed
  • Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries, investigations, and tax disclosures
  • Identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and provide additional value to clients
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver an integrated approach to client service
  • Driving business development initiatives, networking, and identifying new client opportunities
  • Reviewing and improving internal tax processes to enhance efficiency and quality of service
  • Representing the firm externally and contributing to its reputation as a leading tax advisory practice
