Road Freight Operator
Paying up to £27,000 per year.
Based in Tamworth.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:30pm.
Permanent position, offering excellent benefits.
We are seeking a Road Freight Operator to join a leading Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation, with offices based in Tamworth.
This role will be to complete all Imports and Exports for International Road Freight.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in Road Freight Operations, to join a well-established Freight organisation.
Duties of the role will include:
Take enquiries and obtain rates, quoting customers for Import & Export shipments.
Booking freight.
Negotiating costings.
Arranging collections and deliveries.
Completing all required documentation.
Processing freight files.
Checking and passing carrier invoices.
Billing out shipment files.
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience within Road Freight, in both imports and exports. The successful candidate will possess excellent administration and customer service skills.
