HSE AdvisorTamworthMonday to Friday, Days£40,000 - 42,000Company ProfileWe are looking for a motivated Health and Safety Advisor to join a market leader in their respective industry. Reporting to the HSE Manager, the successful candidate will be entrusted to lead parts of the business right from the start with responsibility for key results and involve managing hard and soft services, site and facilities maintenance, HSE group and improvement projects for the site. The position will appeal to a strong HSE professional looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.Responsibilities

  • To support all HSE activities under the leadership of the HSE Manager.
  • Auditing of compliance with HSE procedures.
  • Coordinating toolbox talks and regular HSE training including maintaining training records.
  • Carry out HSE inductions for new starters.
  • Undertake regular site inspections and audits and implementing actions as required.
  • Create and review risk assessments including manual handling and COSHH.
  • Assist with incident investigations.
  • Support continuous improvement for legal compliance and ISO 19001, 14001 & 45001 processes
  • Reviewing contractor RAMS and auditing of contractors.
  • Assist with annual occupation health review.

What You Will Need

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or similar.
  • A demonstrable and proven track record in the use of Quality tools; such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated Quality tools.
  • A knowledgeable understanding of ISO 9001 & adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
