Aspire People are seeking a passionate and dedicated Philosophy Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in the subject of Philosophy, fostering critical thinking, debate, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Philosophy lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Promote philosophical enquiry, encouraging students to think critically and reflect on complex ethical, metaphysical, and logical questions.
Support and challenge students to reach their full potential in Philosophy.
Contribute to the development of the school's philosophy curriculum.
Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in Philosophy or a related subject.
Passionate about Philosophy and committed to inspiring young minds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work effectively within a team and independently.
Strong classroom management skills and a positive, inclusive approach to teaching.
A DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one through Aspire People.
