In this pivotal role, you will:

  • **Act as a trusted advisor**, establishing credible relationships and effectively challenging decisions to promote positive outcomes.
  • **Engage with various business areas** to proactively address people challenges and provide creative, flexible solutions tailored to the organisation's needs.
  • **Advise and coach leaders** on key people matters, compliance, and risk management, ensuring the right strategies are in place.
  • **Utilise data** to identify people priorities, support talent and performance management, and enhance the employee experience.
  • **Drive leadership development** through annual management training programmes and support for team transformations that have significant people implications.
  • **Lead and manage Employee Relations activities**, providing guidance through grievances, disciplinary actions, and collective consultations.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A CIPD qualification at level 3 or higher (or currently pursuing it)
  • Significant HR generalist experience within a manufacturing or engineering setting
  • Proven expertise in managing Employee Relations including dispute resolutions and performance management
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in HR systems and social media platforms ??
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with diverse groups and the ability to influence change
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify development needs and implement strategic initiatives.
