Ashley Kate HR are recruiting for a HR Generalist role based in Birmingham to join a shared service community care company.
This is a 6 month contract initially that could turn into a permanent position.
Based Onsite Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, the role will pay 25-30,000 based on experience
Reporting to the HR Shared Services manager you must be an experienced HR Generalist, supporting a team of four within a busy, fast paced environment supporting in excess of 2,500 employees.
HR Generalist - About the Role
- Support the HR Shared Services Manager with day to day tasks, coordinating and prioritising workload of the HR Team to meet tight deadlines
- Record accurate data onto the HR Information system
- Support the implementation of new HR processes, moving to a shared service function
- Managing and dealing with day to day HR queries with accuracy to both management and wider employees
- Assist and manage the Onboarding/Offboarding of employees
- Answer and respond to any HR related requests from all stakeholders
- Process DBS check and reference checks for new employees
- Change workload priorities due to demands
Hr Generalist - About you
- Must have strong Microsoft office experience
- 2-3 years previous experience working in HR
- CIPD Level 3
- You must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment with a urgency to get things done and be self motivated
- Have Up to date knowledge of HR Legislation
- Be professional, courteous and able to handle confidential information in a diverse company
- You must be happy to be on site with the client as there is no Hybrid or remote working for this role.
- Have the ability to communicate and advise with all stakeholders
- Be an enthusiastic team player in an energetic environment
- Confident in processing DBS checks and gaining references for potential employees
- Have the ability to multi task and change workload depending on priorities and demands
