Description
- Oversee all transport activities and ensure compliance with UK transport laws.
- Manage a team of drivers and coordinate schedules and routes.
- Ensure the maintenance and safety of the fleet.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle any transport-related issues or complaints.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements.
Profile
A successful Transport Manager should have:
- A CPC in Transport Management
- Significant experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Excellent knowledge of UK transport regulations.
- Proven experience in managing a team of drivers.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £40,000 to £44,000.
