The nursery is within easy reach of Lichfield, Sutton ColdfieldWhat will your role as a Nursery Deputy Manager look like?Key Responsibilities:路 Support, mentor, motivate and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties and monitor their paperwork including planning, observations, assessments and learning journeys on a regular basis.路 Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.路 To work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age activities for children路 Being responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in the room.路 Building positive, trusting and successful relationships with parents, colleagues and children.路 Attending nursery events - parent consultations, open days, sports days, summer fairs etc.路 Remain up to date with current developments in childcare and education policies and practices路 Good knowledge and compliance of Health and Safety, Safeguarding, EYFS and Ofsted regulations路 Be willing to be part of the leadership team for continuous progression within the companyKey Skills & Experience:路 A full and relevant level 2, 3 or above qualification路 A sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.路 Knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS and the inspection processes of regulatory bodies.路 Knowledge of Child Protection procedures.路 Awareness of purposeful planning, observation and assessment路 Passion for Childcare IndustryPlease apply for this role below.
