An exciting Quality Inspector positionhasbecome available in Tamworth at a precision engineering company.
Job Title:Quality Inspector
Shifts:Monday -Thursday 7.45am -4.15pm andFriday 7.45am to 3.15pm
Rate:16 per hour to 18 per hour
The Job
- Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
- Conduct tests on materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure products adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Interpret and apply quality control standards and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest quality control standards and requirements.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in products.
- Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and actions taken.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations.
Requirements
- Conventional measuring equipment
- CMM experience (Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager)
- GDT knowledge
- FAIR reporting
- Be able to work as part of a team and on their own
- Calibration knowledge
