Job Title:Quality Inspector

Shifts:Monday -Thursday 7.45am -4.15pm andFriday 7.45am to 3.15pm

Rate:16 per hour to 18 per hour

The Job

  • Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
  • Conduct tests on materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure products adhere to company and regulatory standards.
  • Interpret and apply quality control standards and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest quality control standards and requirements.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in products.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and actions taken.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations.

Requirements

  • Conventional measuring equipment
  • CMM experience (Mitutoyo COSMOS and CMM Manager)
  • GDT knowledge
  • FAIR reporting
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on their own
  • Calibration knowledge
