Engineering Labourer

Contek Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a precision engineering client, based in Tamworth, West Midlands. They are currently approaching a busy period and are now looking for a Machine Shop Labourer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our client specialise in the manufacture of precision parts and components for the Defence, Nuclear, and Aerospace industries. 

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 16:15pm) and Friday (07:45am until 15:15pm)

Pay: £12 per hour, dependent on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helping out around the workshop, assisting machinists with anything that they need.
• Emptying swarf containers.
• Topping up fluids and coolants for the machinery.
• Keeping the workshop in a clean and tidy state.
   

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Previous experience working with metal parts is preferred.
• Ability to commute to Tamworth is required.
