We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our Operations Team on a permanent basis Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00pm at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's continued growth.

How you will make the difference:

You will provide an accurate guidance to the company on all Quality related matters and promoting a positive culture and approach towards health, safety, environment and sustainability. Ensuring that the all products and services meet consistent standards of quality, aligning with customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Able to manage a team, being motivated in coaching them in order to achieve their objectives, targets and KPIs.

Your responsibilities:

Establish and implement quality policies and procedures to maintain high standards.

Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, setting product quality targets and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively.

Establish long term quality improvement plans, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Monitor industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices into the quality management system.

Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, standards and certifications

Maintain up to date knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools and techniques.

Provide expert advice on quality related issues, acting as the primary point of contact relating to quality matters.

Analyse data & utilise KPIs to identify improvements in all areas of Quality, customer, supplier & internal performance.

Implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of improvements.

Perform regular internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards.

Maintain the Rospa Gold award status and management systems, processes, and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.

Update the CMS (Customer Management System) Investigate & identify areas of non-conformance, chairing meetings with department heads to identify root cause & corrective actions for timely conclusions.

Implement lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodologies to optimize quality, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs related to defects and inefficiencies.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality

Work with the Technical department teams to address and incorporate customer need and expectations.

Develop and manage risk management plans to ensure product reliability and effectiveness.

Lead, mentor and develop a team of quality assurance & HSE professionals, carrying out performance and development appraisals, setting objectives, targets and training where applicable.

Guide and Support on all compliance matters involving legislation, changes and HSE/Government updates.

What you will need:
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma
- A demonstrable and proven track record in the use of Quality tools; such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated Quality tools.
-A knowledgeable understanding of ISO 9001 & adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
-Experience of SAP, SharePoint, excel
