Job Summary
Matthew James Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations in our warehouse and ensure the highest standards of delivery are always met. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for warehouse/logistics. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising staff, managing staff, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Monday - Friday 12pm until 8pm
Duties
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff during shifts to ensure efficient warehouse deliveries.
- Coordinate the warehouse accordingly
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in planning of drivers as and when required.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages communication and teamwork among staff.
- Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to lead a diverse team and interact with customers.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
